Prasanna studied at Sardar Patel College of Engineering where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He earned a Master of Science degree (in Computer Science) from Georgia State University. He then worked in Atlanta, Georgia as a software engineer.
He He earned a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prasanna’s research has been published in top-tier academic journals such as Information Systems Research [ISR], Management Information Systems Quarterly [MISQ], Journal of Management Information Systems [JMIS].
Prasanna is interested in studying digital innovation and infobesity. He is also currently studying digital platforms in growing, rural, eastern, aspirational and transitional [GREAT] economies!
Prasanna has taught technology management courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Prasanna has been recognized for his excellent teaching performance in the U.S. and in Hong Kong.
